Balakrishna is going to act in a new movie titled Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy in the direction of Jayanth. Jayanth is going to produce this movie. Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy is credited to be the first freedom fighter in India as he revolted 10 years earlier than the Sepoy Rebellion of 1857. He was born at uyyalawada of present kurnool district which is on the banks of river kundu. Reddy revolted against the British and was finally hanged in the public by the Britsh.
Earlier Chiranjeevi wanted to do the movie but was never materialized. Now Balakrishna has got a chance to act in the movie. This movie will start after the completion of Balayya's current movie Simha.

Nagachaitanya, Samantha's Ye Maya Chesave will hit the screens on Feb 26th. Gowtham Menon is directing the movie and AR Rahman composed the music. The director has decided to have both happy and sad endings for the movie. Depending on the reaction of the public on the first day the director wants to decide the right ending.

As most movies have happy endings these days we can guess Gowtham Menon wants to try a Sad ending. Siddharth's Oye failed after a sad ending. We will have to see how this will work. Nagachaitayna is playing the role of Karthik an assistant director who falls in love with Jesse (Samantha).

Prabhas has suffered a big loss as his father Suryanarayan Raju has passed away today. Suryanarayana Raju was getting treatment in KIMS, Hyderabad at the time. Tollywood big wigs started to visit Prabhas to console him. Suryanarayana Raju Uppalapati has three children. Prabhas has a sister and brother.

Rana Daggubati the grandson of D Ramanaidu is making his Bollywood debut soon. Even before his first release in Telugu he got a chance to act opposite Bollywood sexy Bipasha Basu in a film titled Dum Maro Dum. The movie also has Abhishek Bacchan. The film will be made by Rohan Sippy who made Bluffmaster with Abhishek.
Rana's debut movie Leader will release on the 19th of this month. Leader has a lot of expectations as it being directed by Shekar Kammula

AR Rahman has scored only a 4 direct telugu movies. He started with Venkatesh's Super Police, Rajashekar's Gangmaster, Krishanam Raju's Palanati Pourusham and the last one being Mahesh Babu's Nani. If you notice none of the movies became a hit at the box-office. His 5th direct movie is going to Em Maya Chesave with Nagachaitanya. The movie is being directed by Gowtham Menon and being produced by Krishna's daughter Manjula. Nagachaitanya may be considered lucky to have his second movie's music by AR Rahman. But lets hope that this movie does not end up like other Rahman direct movies. The music is already out and is still needs to catch up.

Kodali Nani the producer of Jr NTR latest hit Adurs had slipped his words on the Telangana activists and got the movie and NTR into trouble. Kodali Nani said that no one could stop the success of Adurs implying that the Telangana activists could not do anything. This got into a big controversy and the screening of Adurs was stopped by the activists all over the region. They also threw shoes at NTR's banner. After these event Kodali Nani tried to cover up his words but the damage was already done to the movie and NTR.

Stars are known for their fancy numbers and Jr NTR has joined the club. Jr NTR's luck number is 9 just like his grandfather. Recently he got the number 9999 for his BMW for a whooping amount of5 Lakhs. NRT has been in the news after his Adurs for its success, then for his wedding news and later for some advocate starting a case on him for agreeing to marry a minor.

National Award winner Prakash Raj is getting ready to get married to Pony Verma, a top choreographer. There were rumours earlier that Prakash Raj and Pony were dating for a while but both denied the rumours constantly.

Now that Prakash Raj is free from the divorce of his first wife, they are seious about getting married. Pony Verma has recently choreographed Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Guzarish.

Yuvasamrat Nagarjuna and his son Nagachaitanya are going to clash this month at the box-office. Nagarjuna's Kedi, movie on gambling and Naga Chaitanya's love story Em Maya Chesave are releasing this month (Feb 12th and Feb 19th). Both movies got a good response for their audio. Sandeep Chowtha composed the music for Kedi and AR Rahman composed the music for Em Maya Chesave. Lets hope that both the movie will make a mark at the box-office. Mamtha Mohandas is acting opposite Nagarjuna in Kedi. Samantha is acting opposite Nagachaitanya in Em Maya Chesave and is directed by Gowtham Menon. The movie will also release in tamil at the same time with Simbhu and Trisha in the main lead.

Due to the tensions in the state because of seperate Telangana, telugu cinema box-office has reached its bottom. Movies that were released in the last two weeks are suffering with minimum collections. Most of the theaters in Telangana region stayed closed and parts of Andhra region which are still playing movies has minimum collections. Arya2 which collected 16 crores in the first week was hit more than any other movie. Other movies like Pravarakhyudu and Saleem are seeing the worse. Saleem and Katha got below average talk and so lost even the first week collections.
If the tensions in the state continue for more than another week, big movies like Adurs and Leader will be moved to next year and may release for Sankranthi as the movie distrubutors area already panicking.

Mohan Babu is playing a negative role as Vogirala Jogayya in Saleem. Mohan Babu is doing a negative role after 15 years. He has become popular in with negative roles at the begining of his career. Saleem is a love story that was supposed to release on the 11th of this month but has been postponed due to tensions in the state.

Vishnu taking about Lakshmi Prasanna, he said that we will be hearing news about her acting soon. Looks like she might stars another show or might act in a movie itself.

Genelia's romantic thriller Katha is releasing this week. Genelia talking about the movie says that she is playing a character that she has never played before. She said that acting with Prakash Raj was a great experience as she can learn a lot from him. Katha is produced by Just Yellow Media that produced movies like Aithe.
Genelia also said that of the four languages she is acting Genny thinks that Telugu movies have given her good training. Genelia's next movie is with Ramcharan and she is also acting in 3 bollywood films including the remake of Bommarillu.

The much awaited Shekar Kammula's movie Leader was supposed to release on December 18th. Due to the delay in the post production work Leader has been postponed till the 31st of this month. Yes it will be released on the last day of the year. Ramanaidu's grandson RaNa is making his debut with this political movie. Richa and Priya are acting opposite him. Mickey J Meyer has composed the music. The music has got an average response.
