Media is supposed to be something that helps the people know the truth and reality. Professionalism is something that is really missing. With the increasing number of TV channels our so called Media has become very cheap. With their silly comments and jokes on politicians and movie stars the ethics of the channels are degrading day by day. The same Media which used to telecast movie stars and their speeches to attract people and increase their ratings has started to make jokes on them to do the same thing.

Was there any channel that ever showed and compared the policies of each party to give people awareness of what party they can choose? Definitely a big NO. They made the election look like a fictional movie. A channel which said that "an actors speeches were awesome" before the election changed that to "an actors over action" really question the ethics of that media. There are also few channels which have been started only to combat some popular channel or a person. It is that simple to misuse something that is part of life of every person.

Just because a party lost in the election does not mean they can make fun and crack cheap jokes on the party and their leaders. With the way they play movie songs in the background and use cartoons to make fun have made the media worse than the politicians. Our leaders are sometimes good and sometimes bad. We punish them by not voting in the next elections. But is there something we can do to punish who is misusing one of the greatest assets of Democracy - Free Media and Journalism?
