Magadheera, the biggest hit of Tollywood so far in terms of collections is going to set another record by crossing 50 days in 301 theaters all over the world (includes theaters overseas). It will complete 50 days on September 20 2009. There were earlier predictions that the movie got initial collections due to its release in a maximum number of theaters and may not go for a maximum number of days. But it looks like it sustained 50 days in more than 300 theaters in-spite of  huge initial collections. The length of the movie will be increased after 50 days with new unseen episodes. These were shot during the making of the movie by were deleted due to the length of the movie. In order to get repeat audience the producer has decided to add them after 50 days.  Now the length of the movie will be above 3 hours.

Directed by Rajamouli, Magadheera stars Ramcharan Teja, Kajal Agarwal and Srihari. Produced by Allu Arvind on Geetha Arts Magadheera already crossed 50 crore mark at around 3 to 4 weeks after release. Anjaneyulu and Mallanna toppled at the box-office and an average opening for Josh left cinegoers with no other option except Magadheera.

Made with higher standards and higher budget, Magadheera has changed the way Telugu cinema is seen by people outside the Telugu world. It has also started a new trend in Telugu cinema. Magadheera will be dubbed to Tamil with only a few scenes that will be remade.

Magadheera has given the stars and the director new status. Ramcharan has signed his third film with Bommarillu Bhaskar and Kajal Agarwal is acting in 5 movies (including tamil). Where as Rajamouli is working on his project Maryada Ramanna with Sunil as hero. There are many rumors on Rajamouli's next project, for example there is a rumor the Rajamouli is going to make Bramharshi Viswamitra with Prabhas. Only time will decide what he is going to make.
