Magadheera Beats all Tollywood Records |

Above is the list of top 6 films in the history of Tollywood and Magadheera broke all the records in just three weeks time. Magadheera has crossed 48 crores in 3 weeks and is still counting. Till now Super Star Mahesh Babu's Pokiri held the record for the highest grosser. All these records were announced by the producers at one time or the other. Magadheera's success was due to various factors. - The first of these is that the movie is definitely good and no doubt it is one of the best movies made in Telugu Cinema. SS Rajamouli, Ramcharan Teja, Kajal Agarwal, the technical team are the strengths of the movie.
- The last big hit in Tollywood from a big hero was Jalsa, released in April 2008, Jr NTR's Yamadonga, released in August 2007. Tollywood has been waiting for a big hero movie for a long time. Though Arundathi was a hit it is a female oriented movie and was not a routine one.
- Magadgeera was not completely different or something new. It cashed on Arundathi's success.Arudathi showed how these high budget and highly technical movies can do at the box-office and Magadheera just took advantage of that.
- The collections did not go down as Anjaneyulu and Mallanna did not do well as expected. The only movie that can slow down Magadheera is Josh which got delayed till september 3rd.
- Intial hype and very high expectations may have pulled the crowds for the first two weeks but Intial talk and very positive reviews prolonged that collections.
May be it will take a while for any other film to break the records of Magadheera. Many can say that there is nothing in Magadheera other than the right timing and unnecessary hype but the movie collections can not be proved otherwise.
