YS Rajashekar Reddy
Yeduguri Sandinti Rajasekhara Reddy (8 July 1949 - 2 Sept 2009) died in an accident occured on September 2nd 2009. After a pathetic search operations by the Indian Government that took atleast 25 hours to find the location of his crashed chopper, YSR's body was found at the location. Reddy was travelling to Chitoor district inspite of bad weather. His chopper was found in Venugodu, 70 Kilometers from Karnool in Nallamala forests. This is a very unfortunate event that occured in the history of Andhra Pradesh.

Rajashekar Reddy was born in Pulivendala, AP and he graduated in MBBS at Gulbarga University. He has leadership qualities even from that young age. Studiying out of state he used to protect all Andhra students from the locals. He always wanted to become a leader and he did. He had to stuggle to find a top place in the Congress Party. Starting as a Minister of Rural Development in 1980, he became the Chief Minister of Andra Pradesh in 2004.

The Central Govenment has sent Sukoi war flight to do the search operations in the bad weather on the night of September 2nd. The 41 images from the flight became useless. It took almost 25 hours to find the crash site. Commader Sagar Bharathi helped find the crash site.

I have done a live update on my blog hoping every minute that he will come back alive. But it was a complete disaster at the end.

May his soul rest in peace.
