Director Teja got the Name of Succesfull & Creative Director in Tollywood. “ Chithram, Nuvvu Nenu , Family Circus, Jayam, Nijam “ etc… and these Movies are Blockbuster hits. He also directed Super Star Mahesh Babu's Nijam. There is a rumor that he even slaps actors if they did not act Properly. Teja accepted this in an interview. After the movie Nijam , he didn’t get any Hit. He is still searching for a hit. “Jai” got an average talk. Recently he directed “ KEKA ” .

He announced that if Keka flops he will not make movies any more. Unfortunately Keka became a big flop. Now he is very silent, he didn’t come forward to Media for a long time. Now there is a rumor that he going to do a new film. If the rumor is true we have to see how he responds to the questions from media about his previous announcements. It is true that Teja is a good movie maker and we don't want him to stop making movies.

Probably he was so confident about Keka that he made that bold statement. Earlier even Ramgopal Varma made a similar statement saying that he will not direct any Telugu movies after censor issue with Govindha Govindha. After taking a gap he started producing and then directed movies like Anukokunda Oka Roju and Deyyam.
