ashtaAshta Chemma is Fun

Ashta Chemma lives up to the hype and yes that's the reason Shekhar Kammula is releasing this movie in USA. This is a full time fun and entertaining movie. The movie is dependent on the situational comedy between the characters.
Director Indraganti Mohan Krishna used Mahesh's concept for the whole movie. The story is simple but the way the he handled the same concept without redundancy is really good.

Telugu cinema names have been used all over the dialogs according to the situation. This is one of those movies that create confusion between the characters to create comedy. At some 3/4 of the movie it looks like the tempo goes down but it comes back towards the climax. There are four songs in the movie and are OK. All four are situational songs.

Though three out of four main characters are new they never make you feel like they are newcomers. They just blend in to their roles. Anand's character is hilarious. Lavanya(Colors Swathi) is good as usual. Rambabu (Nani) is funny. Varalakshmi (Bhargavi) has less to play but is ok. Jhansi, Hema and Tanikella Bharani made justice to their characters. Anand is your guy by the end of the movie.

Ashta Chemma is a low budget movie with few actors and close to 2 hours and 15 minutes in length. I am sure it will do good and will become above-average to hit.

Remember, if you laugh too long for a dialog there is a chance that you might miss the next comedy dialog.

Similar Kind of comedy is seen in:

Gamyam (Allari Naresh Dialogs)
