It looks like the politics are showing their impact on the movies.Minister for Panchayat Raj Botsa Satyanarayana has ordered a ban on screening Magadheera in Vijayanagaram district. The reason is these theaters are not equipped with proper stuff and the people are getting killed during their rush for tickets. Botsa said that he is planning to do this statewide.

The interesting part is being a minister of Panchayat Raj, Botsa does not have the right to do such things like banning a movie. But he did it anyway as he belongs to the area and you know it works in AP. 5 people were killed in Saloor theater trying to get tickets couple of days ago and so the result.

Politicians are showing their power on movies too these days. Some sources say that Botsa has funded Ravi Teja's Anjaneyulu which is releasing tomorrow (12th August) and so is trying to do this. May not be totally true but  something fishy is going on for sure.
