Rajendra Prasad GetS Special Honor at IIFA Festival 2009

International Indian Film Academy Awards, which are more popular among Hindi movie lovers has its festival at Macou (Honk Kong) on the night of June 13th. Telugu Comedy King Dr. Rajendra Prasad got a special honor at this event. Red Carpet is common at these big events where the celebrities walk and pose for the camera's before entering the event. This year they changed the Red Carpet to Green Carpet as an awarness to the Global Warming.

Dr. Rajendra Prasad was invited specially as he was acting in an English movie "Quick Gun Murugan" where is acts as a vegetarian Cow Boy. Rajendra Prasad came in the getup of Quick Gun Murugan as a symbol to the Green Carpet and he has become the center of attraction at the event. Rajendra Prasad was seen talking to biggies like Amithab Bachchan, Abisheik Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai. Oscar winner Rasool Pookutti introduced Rajendra Prasad to everyone at the event saying that Rajendra Prasad is a big actor in South India.

Rajendra Prasad talking about his experience said that he is very thrilled and feeling very proud that a Telugu person was invited to this prestigious Green Carpet at IIFA.
