The last song from Magadheera where Kim Sharma and Ramcharan danced for the ‘paita naligithey ma amma oppukuntadeti’ got into controversy. Keeravani who is popular for lifting songs (next to Manisharma) has used the tune of 'Yem Pillado Eldam Vastava' from a people singer  Vangapandu Prasad Rao's song 'Yem Pillado'. The writer is upset about this and wants to file a case on Magadheera's producer and director if not removed from the movie.

Vengapandu Prasad Rao said that he wrote this song 40 years ago for Srikakulam Udyamam and is very upset about using his song on an song which was piturised in an indecent manner. His daughter said that if the song was not removed they will go to the court.
