There is news that MS Raju is planning to make a graphical entertainer titled Chandi with Arundathi director Kodi Rama Krishna. MS Raju has approached Anushka for the title role. He considered Nayanatara for the role but later decided on Anushka. 

MS Raju said "We haven’t signed the female lead yet, I’ll let you know in a couple of days"
