Guna Shekar who has been planning to make a movie on Gona Ganna Reddy for a while has approched Jr NTR to do this powerful role. Guna Shekar who made high budget movies like Okkadu and Arjun hopes that this movie will materialize sometime soon. Earlier there was news that Akkineni Nagarajuna may do this role. But now it looks like Guna Shekar is considering Jr NTR. Lets wait and see.

For starters Gona Ganna Reddy is a king during the period of Rani Rudrama Devi. He was the ruler of Vaddemani (Mahabubbnagar district) during late 1200s. He supported Rani Rudrama Devi as a queen for the Kakatiya Kingdom.
