Shreya Saran turned 28 today (September 11th 2009).  This Uttarakhand beauty has been in the news from 2001 after making her debut in Telugu Cinema Ishtam.

 

Shreya has started her career with Ishtam in Telugu followed by hit movies like Santosham, Nuvve Nuvve, Tagore, Nenunnanu and Chatrapathi. And there is a big list of flops too (more than 10 films). Shreya hoped that Sivaji - The Boss will change her career but it did not help. Shreya then started getting only Item Songs and guest appearances in Telugu movies like Devadasu, Game, Bommalata, Munna, Tulasi etc.

Shreya then shifted to Bollywood and Hollywood. She could not see success there too. Only notable movies is Mission Istanbul in Hindi. Her Hollywood movie The Other End of the Line failed at the box-office. She is also acting in another Hollywood movie by Deepa Mehta (What's Cooking Stella?). Shreya has turned her attention to Tamil. Mallanna and Pista both failed at the box-office. She is currently working in Kutty the remake of Arya in Tamil and couple more taiml movies Jaggubhai and Chikku Bukku. No telugu movies as of now.
