Nagarjuna

Blue-Ray is the latest High Definition technology for DVD movies. Most of the Hollywood movies and Bollywood movies are being released in Blue-Ray for some time now. Telugu Cinema has entered into this HD technology and Nagarjuna and Trisha's King is the first movie to be released on Blue-Ray. The movie will be in full HD format 1080, a resolution of 1920x1080.  King BD was released on 13th October through Bhavani DVD.

Can't wait till Magadheera releases on Blue-Ray disc.

Regarding Technology

Coming to Technology
Mr.Ram its really funny when i saw your comments...
i know you did this comment only because you did not
digest the news of Nags King movie as first bluray dvd
in tollywood history as you are expecting to get that record for your fav heros movie magadheerra. i could understand your feelings. but it would be nice if you directly quote that point..
but you opted for misleading the news with wrong techno info...

i think you are thinking that the king movie was shooted with and camcorder or what dont bee too foool i say. technology has improved a lot i think you havent seen Moughle aazam a complete black and white movie turned into colured hd format. do you think that at the making time of Moghale Aazam they would have shooted with steady cams and digital cams with akela cranes like that.... how did they make out frm such movie.... ha haaa

theres no need to make a movie in HD format to get the output for blueray.. A Master CD of Soundtracks is more than enough to bring out a 7.1 which you dont know...
and coming to the technology

Before I go any further, I would like to note you that Optical and Digital Coaxial cables are insufficient and will only transmit 2.0 PCM audio. In other words, only stereo...they are not capable of delivering Lossless 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound.

**If you are using an Optical cable or Digital Coax cable, you should have your Player set to Bitstream to avoid any issues.

The only way to hear 5.1/7.1 Uncompressed PCM, Dolby TrueHD & Dts-HD Master is to use either an HDMI or Multichannel Analog cable.

To hear Lossless audio through Multichannel Analog, you need a Player that has Internal decoding capability and Multichannel Analog outputs. (every Bluray player I can think of has these outputs except for the PS3) paired with any Receiver that has multichannel analog inputs.

Each channel is transferred through a single standard RCA cable. So for a 5.1 setup, you would need 6 single RCA cables.(for 7.1 setup you would need 8).

Also, If it cannot be decoded by the player, then you will not hear that specific codec. For example, the Sony BD-S1 can internally decode Dolby TrueHD. But it cannot decode Dts-HD Master. So with the multichannel analog connection, you could hear TrueHD (only the "core").

The audio format familiar from DVD, Dolby Digital (sometimes known as AC-3) is one of the base standards of Blu-ray. It works basically the same way that it worked on DVD in configurations from 1.0 to 5.1, though it does offer a higher maximum bit rate of 640 kb/s (which is considered audibly indistinguishable from Dolby Digital Plus at the same rate).
Multi-channel analog - The Blu-ray disc player will decode the DTS bitstream (only 2 channel decoding is required, but most players will do 5.1) and convert it to analog, after which it will be sent to the receiver for amplification. Once again, the final sound quality will depend on how well the audio components in the disc player compare to those in the receiver.

hmmmmmm theres lot more stuff to say regarding this
but i think this is waste of time in explaining all these as common reader would not be intrested in this kind of stuff... i just want to explain to you only...

Finallly remember one thing Mr.Ram
First step will always be an experimental step
it will be made into ultimate product in the next steps..
remind that....

Actually i just came here to see the nice news in tollywood tooo that blue ray is going to release in telugu

First of all i appreciate all the tollywoodians to start this new era and hopefully nag would be the first one who always strive for some thing new and i am happy Telugu Blue ray era was been started with a nice eye treat watch movie Tollywood Cupid(manmadhudu)Nag... and i wish the production team of the King also that is Mr.Siva Prasad Reddy...

All of the time I and my fnds wath most of the bluray movies which are of Hollywood only and recently bollywood movies also even kollywood entered with Shivaji and billa... being a largest advanced industry after bollywood ours tollywood delayed this feat but anyways its not any delay for waiting upto Magadheeras release and theres nothing feast in magadheera movie to watch as its not at all an eye treat movie except the location of that lord shivas hill.

But for one reason you can watch blue ray of magadeera its for the heroine princess Kajal. (blue ray konnukoni mariii aaa hero moham choodalsina pani ledhani andhari feeling)..
and one reason to buy a King blue ray..
1st reason Nag, Nag and Nag because nag potrayed 3 diff chars in this movie watching one nag is an eye treat then what would u say for 3nags,, and
2nd reason beauty of the heroine Trisha excellent
3rd reason Mamatha mohandas ever charming to watchi here
4th reason Songs of the movie esp Choopu chalu ooo manmadhuda... wat an extraordinary location with cool costumes and nag style of steps(leg throwing)
5th reason best movie to watch by entire family
6th full length comedy without no vulgarity..
and finalllyyyyy the song

Nuvvu Ready Nenu Ready
Yes one of the tollywoods most awaited song can be done
only bye cupid nag.
its the song that should be watched on bluray
its an eye feast even to the other fans alsoooo....
what not theres lot of things to be watched...

i thinks this enough regarding movie....
dvikaskumar , October 24, 2009
Release in Blue Ray is not enough.

Hi All Readers,

Just Release in Blue Ray is not the only to celebrate.. Take the Disc and turn back over to specifications or features and read the list.

If the movie is not in the standards of BlueRay, what is the use of releasing in that standads??!! Itwill be like copying CD's to DVD's. Now DVD quality will come in Blue Ray.

For ex: Blueray is capable of handling HD DTS (True DTS) up to 7.1 channels. but we have only DD(Dolby Digital) 5.1 channels. They say 24 frames 1080p Video.. but not sure on it.
The basic thumb rule is If a HD content to come out they have to produce the movie in HD first off all. Other wise it will be like MAKEUP to a average(For people expecting Magadheera) .
Any way good start for our TollyWood. Lets all welcome it.

Ram.
