Jagapati Babu, Ramgopal Varma's Gayam was a big hit in 1993. Now a sequel to that movie is being made by one of the students of RGV. Praveen Sri is going to direct this. The movie was officially started on December 2nd. 

Jagapati Babu said that this is a perfect sequel to Gayam. He meant that the story will continue from where it was left in Gayam. Unlike some of the sequels we've seen in Bollywood and Tollywood there is no relation to the original version. Like the recent Arya2. 

Lets hope that this movie does not end up like RGV's Shiva 2006.
