MM Srilekha  -  2009  -  Srikanth, Meera Jasmin, Sada

The little cousin of Keervani hasn't really done any assignment in the recent past.This albmum seems to be a good come back after a recess. Gossip goes she is fighting against the odds of gender issues in the industry.Nevermind...!! The "Kasheeki Poyanu" was rendered sizzling saute hot by Sunidhi Chauhan. let me categorize it as a decent mass song with no Hulla Bullah lyrics in it, The sencond song is a duet song by music director herself and Karthik,a nice duet hope the lyrics were a little better.Looks like Srilekha has got her basics well, but not trying "out of box" music makes her loose the competitive edge. Who is listening to Udit Narayan these days ?? "Puppodi Kanna" seems the same to me as the first song he sang when he debuted in Tollywood.Pranavi(Star of AP fame) has done good job there. The fourth song lryic goes Acchata Mucchata rendered by Karthik and Srilekha again no different from the second song however looks like the song must go well with the story line of the movie,finally Shankar Mahadevan after his KIKK music has sung a good mass "teenmar" song, the female voice is Geetha Madhuri(Sye Challenge fame) has made it seem more sultry.

Overall, a decent album but cant come again & again to listen to it over and over.
