Sonam Kapoor no to Abhishek

The buzz is that Sonam Kapoor said no for a movie with Abhishek under Ashutosh Gowrikar which is titled Khele Hum Jee Jaan se set under preindependence.Abhishek plays a freedom fighter in the movie. The reason she gave for no is that she doesn’t have any dates for the movie. Sonam Kapoor was approached for the movie with Abhishek after Asin opted out of the offer. The actual reason skeptics think for Sonam Kapoor’s no is that her pairing with Abhishek did not do very well at the box office in Delhi 6. So finally Deepika Padukone took the role for the movie.
