Comedians have huge demand in movie industry. It is same in both tamil and telugu film industry. Directors have to wait for call sheets of comedians on par with Heroes. Rajnikanth once said that he will adjust his dates as per the availability of Tamil comedian Vadivelu. COming to Tollywood recently it came out that Brahmanandam for his film Namo Venkateshaya starring Venkatesth and Trisha charged Rs 80lakhs. Heroine Trisha is being paid about Rs60-70 lakhs for her role in the movie.

Our Telugu super star Krishna and Comedian Brahmanandam who got Guinness Book of World records have received and honoured with Padma Bhushan and Padmasri awards respectively from President of India Pratibha Patil at Ashoka Hall in Presendtial palace in New Delhi in a ceremony held on 31st of March, 2009.
Comedian Brahmanandam is writing his own Autobiography .So far he has completed 60% work and the book will be released very soon.Brahmanandam was born in Guntur District in a Viswa Brahmin family. He has completed his post graduation and worked as a lecturer. The renowned director Late Jandhyala introduced to the silver screen and later on he is famous as Jandhyala Sishya.He has come up step by step and recently he won Guinness Book of World records. After Relangi and Raja Babu, he is only the long standing comedian in this generation. His comedies with good expressions are memorable and enjoy from Children to Older People.
